Integration
Opera Cloud integration
Creventa works alongside Oracle Opera Cloud. Opera Cloud keeps the booking and the property record, and Creventa handles what comes next: guest pre-orders, allergens and dietaries, seating plans, place cards and the reports your team works from on the day.
Talk to us about this integration
Opera Cloud runs the property and the booking. Creventa picks up at the point the booking is confirmed and collects the guest level detail that follows, so neither system is asked to do the other one job.
Why venues connect Opera Cloud to Creventa
A property management system is built to manage rooms, rates and the booking itself. It is not built to collect a menu choice from each of two hundred named guests, record what every one of them cannot eat, and turn that into a kitchen report. Without a connection, the events team rekeys the booking into a spreadsheet and works from there, which is where the hours and the allergen risk go.
What Creventa adds after the booking
Confirmed bookings and guest data come across from Opera Cloud. From there the organiser gets a link to share with their guests, each guest chooses their own courses and declares their own allergies and dietary requirements, and Creventa builds the chef report, the food pass, the seating plan and the place cards from those responses. All 14 UK declarable allergens are recorded against the named guest who declared them.
Which version of Opera is supported
Creventa integrates with Oracle OPERA Cloud. On-premise OPERA is not supported. If your property is still running on-premise and planning a move to Cloud, talk to us about timing so the integration is ready when you are.
What stays in Opera Cloud
Everything your property team does there today. Rooms, rates, folios, billing and the booking record are untouched. Creventa does not duplicate the reservation and does not ask your front office to change how they work.
Getting set up
The connection is configured per property. Once it is in place, confirmed bookings appear in Creventa with their guest details and your events team works from there. Groups running several properties can standardise menus, allergen handling and reporting across all of them while each site keeps its own diary.
Frequently asked questions
Does Creventa replace Opera Cloud?
No. Opera Cloud remains your property management system. Creventa handles the guest level detail after a booking is confirmed, which a PMS is not designed to collect.
Do we have to enter bookings twice?
No. Confirmed bookings and their guest data come across from Opera Cloud, so your events team is not rekeying the reservation.
Can we use this across several properties?
Yes. Group operators use it to standardise menus, allergen handling and reporting across sites while each property keeps its own diary and its own PMS record.
