Why venues connect FreedomPay to Creventa
A single event can produce dozens of separate payments: the deposit, each guest paying for their own choices, and the balance at the end. If the gateway does not know which event a payment belongs to, matching them up falls to somebody with a spreadsheet. Connecting FreedomPay to Creventa makes that link at the moment of payment instead.
What your team sees
Each event carries its own payment summary: ordered, paid and outstanding. Guest payments reduce the balance the host settles, so there is one number to chase rather than a column to total. Payment reminders and confirmations carry the same summary, so the guest and the venue are reading the same figures.
Where it fits with deposits and guest payments
Deposits require a due date and can accept discount codes. Guest order payment can be set to off, optional or required for each event. Once the host settles the remaining balance, the event is marked settled and locked, which gives the team a clear finish line.
Getting set up
FreedomPay is configured per venue. Once connected, payment options appear on your events automatically, and venues with no gateway configured have payments switched off rather than guests meeting a failure at the checkout.
