What is a Joiner Party?

A joiner party (or shared party night) is an event where several separate bookings, typically groups of 6 to 20, share one large occasion such as a Christmas party night. The venue sells the night to many small groups rather than one client.

Joiner parties multiply the admin of a normal event because every group has its own host, guest list, pre-orders and payments. Purpose-built joiner party management consolidates all groups into one seating plan and one set of kitchen reports. The Parmar Collection runs shared nights of 350 to 500 guests this way with Creventa ticketing.

Joiner parties in practice

A hotel sells a Christmas party night for 400: thirty separate bookings from offices of 8 to 20, each with its own organiser, menu choices, deposits and seating preferences. Run manually, that is thirty spreadsheets and one very long December. Run on purpose-built software, each organiser manages their own group through a link, payments arrive per booking, and the venue sees one consolidated seating plan and one set of kitchen reports. The Parmar Collection runs nights of 350 to 500 guests this way, and at Christmas 2025 Creventa joiner nights ran at up to 700 covers.

Frequently asked questions

How do venues sell joiner party tickets?

Through white-label ticketing on the venue’s own website: each group books its own places into the shared night, pays its own deposit or balance, and flows into pre-orders automatically.

How is seating handled when thirty groups share one night?

Each group is kept together and the venue arranges groups across the room with drag-and-drop, producing one master plan, place cards per guest, and kitchen reports for the whole night.

Why are joiner parties profitable?

They fill a room from many small bookings that could never fill it alone, and per-guest pre-orders and drink packages lift spend without adding service complexity.
