What is a Chef’s Report?
A chef’s report summarises everything the kitchen must produce for an event: each dish with total quantities, broken down by course, with allergies and dietary requirements flagged against the affected guests. It is the kitchen’s production plan and purchasing basis.
When generated from guest pre-orders, the chef report is accurate by construction, which is why venues using pre-order software report around 20% less food waste, a result reported by a global hotel chain using Creventa. Learn more about allergen tracking.
